doula care
As a birth doula, I listen and respond. I track, and attune to needs that are emerging for birthing folks as well as the field around them. Whether it’s a need for hydration, nourishment, making tones to orient energy down to the earth, sweet reminders to breathe, changing positions, giving a little bodywork, singing, quiet, space, rest or close in contact, I am there to be a steady rock of support and care.

I fully trust birthing people and their journey- no matter the path they take or the path that emerges. I see all forms of birthing as sacred and am comfortable as a doula in any setting.

process
I meet with birthing folks, as well as their support person/people if they have them, at least 6-8 weeks prior to the due window to talk through birth journey desires and have time to bond. We touch base every couple weeks thereafter and increase contact 3 weeks leading up to the due window.

I am with folks during labor and birthing, depart an hour or two after babe is born and check-in within a couple of days post-birth to see if I can come support with touch, listening, or other forms of care.

I can provide prenatal and postnatal bodywork as well at my regular hourly rate for bodywork.
